Purdon Rentals, Lexington, Ky., an event rental resource that has serviced weddings, private parties and corporate events in central Kentucky since 1974, commemorated its 50th anniversary with an open house celebration on Monday, April 15.

The company opened its showroom to guests for an event that featured cocktails, light bites and music courtesy of a DJ.

To mark the occasion and Purdon Rentals’ five-decade contribution to the community, Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton declared April 15 “Purdon Rentals Day.”

“We are so blessed and humbled to have made it to 50 years of rental services to our community. We are so grateful to each one of our hard-working and dedicated employees and of course our clients. Also, thank you to the ARA [American Rental Association] for all their support, educational and networking opportunities that have only made us stronger. Here’s to another 50 years!” said Purdon Rentals President Ian Goff, CERP, and General Manager Katlyn Goff, CERP.
