Is your Web site effective at bringing customers to your business? Is it ranked high on Internet search engines? Are you making full use of social networking sites to connect with prospective and current customers? In this economy, you need to make sure that all of your marketing tools are working for you, especially your online efforts. Discover how to do that when the Northeastern Ohio Rental Association (NEORA) presents “Making the most of your Web presence” from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22, at ABC Rental Center/ABC Tent & Event in Ridgeville, Ohio. During this RenTech session, which is offered in conjunction with the American Rental Association (ARA), David McBee, certified Google presenter, will show you how to: - Have your business ranked higher on Internet search engines.
- Discern whether advertising on the Internet is important to your business and, if it is, whether it is working for you.
- Know the do’s and don’ts of search engine optimization.
- See whether social networking sites are right for your business and determine whether it’s time to get involved.
Registration begins at 6 p.m. The cost is $20 if you are a NEORA member, which will be refunded at the close of the program. If you are a prospective NEORA member, pay $75, which also will entitle you to receive a one-year membership in NEORA. Registration costs include the training program and dinner. If you are a rental operator in the Northeastern Ohio area, watch your e-mail for the brochure and registration form. You also will be able to download a form from the ARA Web site at www.ARArental.org. If you have questions, call Callie Jennings, ARA state, local and provincial programs administrative assistant, at 800-334-2177, ext. 242.
