Sunbelt Rentals, Fort Mill, S.C., has opened a new Pump & Power location in Shrewsbury, Mass. The company said the branch will serve the greater New England area, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine.

“Our Specialty Divisions offer customers extensive capabilities in areas that demand a high level of technical expertise,” said Joe Phelan, Sunbelt president and CEO. “We are thrilled to open a new location in New England and continue to provide a unique service to our customers.”

Sunbelt said its Pump & Power Specialty Division offers customers a turnkey solution for highly specialized job requirements such as sewer bypass projects, large events, emergency power and many others. “Our extensive product fleet includes a wide range of high performance pumps, power generation equipment, temperature control equipment, desiccant dehumidifiers, large air compressors and trench shoring equipment,” said Kyle Horgan, Sunbelt operational vice president. “Our focus is to provide tailored solutions for all our customers’ challenges. Opening this new location allows us to expand our capabilities and continue to serve this important sector of the rental industry.”

With the Shrewsbury opening, the company has 23 Pump & Power locations.
