The Canadian Rental Association’s (CRA) Atlantic trade show, held Feb. 19-20 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, has been deemed a success by the association. Of particular interest was a special Chinese auction held at the annual banquet on Feb. 19. CRA President Andrew Paquette, owner of Bravo Rentals in Montreal, selected the winning auction tickets and challenged the winner of an Adirondack chair to put it together during the show hours the next day. If assembled in time, Paquette promised to make a contribution to the Dorothy Wellnitz Scholarship Fund. John Hughes of DLA Sales and Marketing was the winner and easily assembled the chair with Paquette making a donation. A total of $430 also was collected through a 50/50 draw to benefit the Dorothy Wellnitz Scholarship Fund. The winner, Rick McMullin, A to Z Rental Center, Fredericton, New Brunswick, donated his portion back to the scholarship fund.
