- General Equipment Co., Owatonna, Minn., has introduced its line of TCT Series augers for heavy duty drilling projects. These new augers work with General Equipment’s line of DIG-R-TACH® hydraulic earth auger attachments as well as competitive models. The TCT Series comes in 36-, 48- and 60-in. digging depths and 6- to 36-in. diameters. For maximum compatibility all models are available with 2-in. round, 2 9/16-in. round and 2-in. hexagonal auger drive connections. - Husqvarna Construction Products, Olathe, Kan., has introduced the K970, a new power cutter to complete Husqvarna’s line of power cutters unveiled at the World of Concrete 2010. The K970 replaces the K960 model. The K970 has an X-Torq® engine that produces more output than its predecessor — 6.4 hp — while reducing emissions by up to 75 percent and lowering fuel consumption by 20 percent.
