Ryan Choura, CEO of Choura Events, Long Beach, Calif., announced last week that his company will donate a Platinum wedding package valued at about $15,000 to a Southern California couple that most effectively demonstrates — via Facebook video — why it deserves a free wedding. The Choura Events Wedding Giveaway — which is open for submissions through Sept. 30 — is hosted exclusively through Choura Events’ Facebook page.

Video submissions will be judged by public voters. The couple with the most votes by Oct. 14 will be awarded a custom wedding package for up to 150 guests. The package includes full-service catering and custom wedding cake; all wedding rentals, such as tables, chairs, linens and tenting; and the option to hold the reception at any of Choura Events’ venues throughout Southern California. The winning couple must marry by Dec. 31, 2010, in order to take advantage of the special offer.
