Astec Industries, Chattanooga, Tenn., reported net income of $10.3 million for the second quarter, up 33.8 percent compared to $7.7 million for the second quarter of last year.

Revenues for the second quarter of 2010 were $209.2 million, up 10.8 percent compared with $188.8 million for the second quarter of 2009. Domestic sales were $129.2 million during the second quarter of 2010 compared to $129.2 million last year. International sales accounted for $80.0 million of revenues during the second quarter of 2010 compared to $59.6 million during the second quarter last year and accounted for 38.2 percent of total sales for the second quarter of 2010 compared to 31.6 percent for the second quarter of last year.
