American Turf and Carpet, and its parent Signature Fencing and Flooring Systems, New York, have opened a warehouse in Sanford, Fla., near Orlando.

“We wanted to service our customers in the best way possible and felt that a local presence in the Southeast was an important step towards meeting this goal,” said Arnon Rosan, Signature’s president and CEO. “We see this location as enabling us to provide same day delivery throughout Florida and to become a local resource for Tent and Event companies in the Florida market.”

Both Signature Fencing and Flooring, and American Turf will warehouse a selection of its products for immediate pickup and shipment at its Sanford location. A large quantity of dance floor, temporary tent flooring, staging, fencing and barricades will be available from Signature’s Florida location.

“We are simply responding to the comments of our customers, who want us to have material in the Orlando area, so that we can better respond to last minute needs at resorts, hotels, and events in the area and also have material available for rental and pickup in the event of a seasonal Hurricane” said Seth Gordon, Signature’s director of Business Development. “Our other divisions will share space in the Orlando warehouse, enabling us to better meet the needs of customers outside of the event industry as well.”

American Turf and Carpet and Signature’s Orlando warehouse will be open to receive and ship product from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and other hours by appointment. Crews will be available to load equipment and product seven days a week, 24 hours a day if circumstances require.

“As a company in the event industry, we will obviously be available to load carpet, turf, tent flooring and other products any time of day and as needed,” said Jason Frew, vice president of rental operations. “We're not a retail carpet or flooring store. We are event professionals and what differentiates us is that we understand the tent and rental industry because most of us grew up in this business.” 

Signature Fencing and Flooring Systems is the parent of American Turf and Carpet, one of the nation’s largest providers of turf, carpet and carpet installation services. Signature is a manufacturer and renter of lay-down and raised flooring systems for tents, modular plastic flooring, pop-up staging and riser systems, event fencing and barricades, and dance floors.
