Toromont Industries Ltd., Toronto, has promoted Scott Medhurst to president and CEO, Toromont, effective March 1. Medhurst is currently president, Toromont CAT, the Caterpillar dealership division of Toromont.

Robert Ogilvie, current chairman and CEO, Toromont, will remain actively involved in company as executive chairman.
