Arrow Material Handling Products, Kansas City, Mo., one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of fork tines and attachments in North America, announced it will open a new distribution center in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, in March 2012.

The new distribution center will be Arrow’s fourth location in North America, and its first in Canada. “We are happy to announce the opening of our fourth distribution center,” said Ross Gault Sr., president and CEO of Arrow. “Arrow saw demand for our products increase in 2012, and this new distribution center will allow us to provide better service and product support to our customers in Canada. Delivery times will be faster and shipping cost will be lower,” Gault said.

The new distribution center, which the company said will open by March 4, will stock a wide variety of Arrow’s best selling products, such as ITA forks, shaft mount forks for telehanders, pallet frames for skid-steers, and universal attachments such as booms, trailer spotters and work platforms used in material handling, construction and rental equipment industries.

Arrow’s three other locations include its manufacturing facility in Kansas City, Mo., and warehouse distribution centers in Chesapeake, Va., and Commerce, Calif.
