Gene LaPierre has been named director of specials projects for B.C. Tent & Awning, Avon, Mass. LaPierre will work with Bob Costa, B.C. Tent & Awning owner, to help with growth and business development. LaPierre is the former owner of Taylor Rental Center in Holyoke, Mass. He began rental career there in 1974, purchased it in 1983 and retired from that position in 2001.
