Those attending The Rental Show 2012 in New Orleans can encounter all that the American Rental Association (ARA) has to offer by stopping at the ARA Resource Center — Booth No. 6535 — on the trade show floor. Visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to meet and talk with key personnel from ARA’s different departments, including member services; education and training; state, local and provincial programs; the Rental Management (RM) Group; government affairs; the Canadian Rental Association; ARA Insurance; and the ARA Foundation to learn how these various aspects of ARA can help grow and safeguard rental businesses. The booth is designed to highlight the key aspects that membership in ARA offers those in the rental industry: - Innovation
- Business resources
- Advocacy
- Networking
“Those elements are integrated into everything ARA offers,” says Tom Hubbell, ARA’s vice president for marketing and communications. “For the booth this year, we wanted to help everyone in the industry see and, more importantly, experience how these elements work together to benefit your business. ARA is not just a product, a magazine, an educational webinar, a marketing program, a state or provincial association, a legislative caucus or a disaster relief program,” Hubbell says. “It is all of those things and more, but most importantly, it’s a dedicated group of staff members whose sole focus is to help our members be successful and advance the rental industry as a whole. That’s our purpose each and every day. When you understand the scope of what ARA offers, you can see how membership will make a difference in your business,” he says. Those who stop by the booth also can drop off a ticket to win a 32 GB Apple iPad 2 — complete with Wi-Fi and 3G-capability.
