Volvo Rents, Shippensburg, Pa., has acquired Blue Eagle Equipment, a three-store equipment rental company based in South Carolina, with stores in Columbia, Greenville and Spartanburg, and opened a new store in Englewood, Colo.

Hertz Entertainment Services has acquired Cinelease, U.S. market leader in lighting and grip rentals to the television industry, based in Los Angeles.

The deadline to respond to the latest American Rental Association (ARA) economic survey is Thursday, Jan. 26. The ARA is asking ARA members to help benchmark the current conditions for the rental industry and to look ahead to the future by participating in the survey.
